The museum of the Romantic Life is located in the Nouvelle Athènes district of the 9th arrondissement of Paris. It is housed in the Hôtel Scheffer-Renan, the former residence of Dutch-born painter Ary Scheffer, and was a hub of Romantic inspiration during the first half of the 19th century.
